Derby 10k Report by Joshua Stock
It was a dull wet day for the race but at least the finish was in the shelter of Derby County football stadium. Seven Harriers competed in the event and all were within 5 mins of their target. The first two finishers Nigel Stock and Mark Bradford both aimed at 40 minutes, Nigel finished in 39:59 and Mark in 42:49.
Next in were the two Jacubecz brothers, both aiming for 43 minutes. Matt came in first with 43:30, then Jon came in just after with 46:48. Shortly after them Dave Munro who was aiming for 50 minutes sprinted in at 48:45.
Peter Attaway, who was aiming for 55 minutes came in at 55:13 followed by Leon Spence who is making a welcome return to running following injury in 57.17.
All in all a good turnout considering it wasn't a Harriers race and two pb's for Dave and Nigel. Well done to them
