Mark Goes For A Double At Wollaton Park
Its Saturday morning and faced with the choice of overtime or racing Mark a.k.a. Beast decided to race at the old family home of 'Wollaton' Park. Not once but twice!!
His day started off with the 10k and despite struggling with hay fever he came home in 1.05.40. The course is a 2 lap run through the outskirts of the park mainly on grass / gravel and through a couple of woods.
After completing this he then ran with his daughter in the 3k event and in his own words 'suffered shame' when he was beaten by 30 secs in a time of 18.30 as Rhiannon came home in a time of 17.58.
Will Rhiannon ever let him forget!!
